Executed Projects

Project Scope:

Offering scientific insights to shape environmental policies and programs. We strive for an ecological balance to enhance the well-being of the local community.

Project beneficiaries:

Nuquí local community. Focused on fishermen.

Impact

We provided support to approximately 9,000 individuals in Nuquí, particularly fishermen, offering tools for sustainable extractions and marine conservation.
Efforts aimed at the recovery of the marine and coastal environment lead to an improvement in the quality of life of the local community.

Future Projects

Evaluating the Condition of Coral Reefs in the Colombian Pacific’s Tribugá Gulf.

Proudly and diligently, we have executed the initial three phases of our research. Nonetheless, the journey persists, and we are getting ready for what comes next.

Project Scope:

Despite reaching meaningful goals, the path forward remains.

Our preparations are underway for the second monitoring, and looking ahead, for establishing a continuous monitoring system. These phases play a pivotal role in formulating effective conservation strategies and assisting communities and authorities in making informed decisions

The findings will not only contribute to the knowledge of reef ecosystems but will also serve as foundations for local communities and authorities to make informed decisions, ensuring the long-term sustainability and protection of these invaluable marine habitats.
